Principle 1 of the UDL framework suggests that educators provide students with multiple means of representation of curricular materials. This concept of multiple representations relates to perception, language, symbols, and comprehension. Representing concepts and ideas varies widely by discipline. As you read through UDL Principle 1, try to look at the concepts, examples and resources through the lens of teaching in your content area.
